Community Supported Agriculture

  • What is a CSA?

    Community Supported Agriculture

CSA is a partnership between farmers and community; reconnecting people to the food they eat, while supporting farmers.

Members make a commitment to support the farm with a seasons subscription - paid monthly or in full - in return, we supply you with a veg box every week.

    Less waste

CSA provides stability for the farmer and a guaranteed market, so we can plan our cropping more effectively, minimising food waste.

    Transparency

CSA helps to address increasing concerns about the lack of transparency, sustainability and resilience of our food system.

  • What do you get?

    Weekly vegetable box

Our 2025 CSA will run for 32 weeks. You will receive a vegetable box every Thursday from mid-May until Christmas.

Each week you will receive a share of the harvest. In the box will be the best of what’s on offer on the farm.

    Visit the farm

As a member, you will also have an open invitation to visit the farm where you are welcome to come and learn about sustainable vegetable growing.

    Discover new food

Receive a weekly newsletter with recipe ideas, produce information and updates from the farm.

  • Why join?

    Healthy food

Access to healthy, local food grown without the use of chemical fertilisers or pesticides. Everything is harvested fresh on the day so the veggies will last longer and be extra delicious!

    Get involved

Opportunity to get involved by joining us on volunteer days where we will show you around the farm and you can lend a hand growing food.

    Giving back to the community

We donate vegetables to the food bank year-round. Your support means we can continue to grow and donate produce to the food bank, so supporting us supports them.

FAQ

Can I get my box delivered?

You can either collect your box from the farm in Wishanger or we offer delivery for an additional £5 per month.

What if I’m on holiday?

Unlike larger veg box producers we are unable to offer pauses or refunds on uncollected boxes. So if you are on holiday you can give your box to a friend or we can deliver it to a neighbour. Alternatively, we can donate your share of the harvest to the local food bank.

Can I cancel my box?

We ask for two months’ notice if you would like to cancel your subscription at any point as we plan our crops around our Membership and it gives us time to find someone else to replace you.

Will everything be grown on the farm?

Our aim for 2025 is to grow all the produce that goes into our boxes ourselves, however, ecological farming can be unpredictable. If at any point in the season, we need to source vegetables from other local organic growers, we will always tell you first.

Can I swap things in my box?

Yes and no. We can’t offer customizable boxes, but there will be a swap box where you can swap out for an item you’d prefer.

I want to be a member but can’t afford it.

We offer a number of subsidised boxes. Get in touch with us for more information.

Where do I collect my box from?

If you’ve chosen to collect your box it will be ready at the farm every Thursday from 4pm.
